Suitable for groups of 2 – 8 players of 8 years and above, this game lasts about 30 minutes and is a perfect beginner or finishing game for game nights. For example, “types of dogs” that begin with the letter “B.” With only 10 seconds to think of an answer, this is frantic-fun at its finest! As soon as all ten cards have been exhausted the game ends. The player who has none or the smallest number of cards wins.

In such cases, an alternative object must be found by the challenged player before the bomb is passed on.

The letters may be used anywhere in the word. For example, if the letters on the card are "BO" you could say "KABOOM". It's a sad farewell to the long-standing Pass the Bomb collection, but all good things must come to an end! So if you want to enjoy a family fun-night in, then make sure you get your hands on one (or all!) of Pass the Bomb. A player's turn is finished as soon as s/he has said an acceptable word and passed the bomb timer on, even if the next player has not yet taken hold of the bomb timer.

Before playing with younger children is a good idea to go through the cards together, so that everybody becomes familiar with the pictures.

The game continues until all 13 cards have been used. The winner is the player holding the least number of cards. Play continues until the bomb timer "explodes". The bomb timer will explode randomly between 20 and 90 seconds.

As soon as the player has completed their turn they must pass on the bomb immediately, If the bomb is "in-between" players when it explodes, it is the following player who is deemed to have been holding the bomb when it exploded, assuming that the object given by the previous player is correct.
