Blue Orange Gobblet Gobblers
About this deal
Gobbling: You can gobble up your own pieces. You can gobble up any smaller size gobblet; it does not have to be the next size down. Each player’s objective is to line up three pieces in a row. Test your memory and appetite for laughs with this easy to learn game of strategy that plays like the classic game of tic-tac-toe with a twist: you can gobble up your opponent’s piece if it is smaller than yours! Touched Gobblet: Once you touch a gobblet that is on the board you must play it. If you touch a gobblet that cannot be played, you automatically lose that game.
In this paid edition, you can choose between three difficulty levels: "Main", "Hard" and formidable "Oni". In 2009, Blue Orange Games published revisioned editions: Gobblet X4 and Gobblet Gobblers to replace Gobblet and Gobblet Jr. accordingly. In a paid Standard edition, you can choose between another three difficulty levels: "Main", "Hard" and formidable "Oni".
In 2003, Gigamic and Blue Orange Games released Gobblet Junior, a version of the game for younger players, which is played on a 3×3 board. We’ve all spent many a dreary afternoon inside at school playing tic-tac-toe with our friends, and even the teachers sometimes. There are a few different variations on the Gobblet game theme, which uses the same rules and gameplay instructions as Gobblet Gobblers. These include Gobblet Junior and Gobblet 4×4.
