took the battery home for the weekend, left it for a few days, perfect, it just needed heating up abit, you could try that, leave them in an aring cuboard or something for a few days, might work?

the chances off 2 completely independent battery and charger groups failing in your hands would require somthing wrong with say your voltage input from the mains as the only common factor i can think off ?? The ERBAUER work light with 1600 lumens (20W), offers a quality light for better work conditions and a better precision level lithium batteries can be funny things when new the protection is well synchronized between battery and charger protection circuits but as they age they can sometimes "fail" at the margins as one off the protections isn't happyI have had the same with camera batteries, where one battery has refused to charge, where others seem OK and have put to one side then tried again a few weeks latter and it has charged. I do keep it all in my unheated workshop, in a cupboard, but I don't think it would have got cold enough to destroy the batteries. Hi, I’ve had an Erbauer 18v cordless drill combo for a few years and always been able to charge the batteries without issue. However when i inserted one of the batteries the other day there was a ‘pop’ and a burning smell from the charger and it wouldn’t work..no lights on, nothing, totally dead. It wasn’t the plug fuse as there was burning smell from inside the charger itself as of something had blown inside.

had this happen with now very old bosch 10,8 now called 12v and older ryobi li ion 18v and a period off trying several times or a different charger or location has ment only one failure off perhaps seven wont charge occasions out off perhaps 20 plus batteries so dont give up try everything but after 14 years the older 2.4ah batteries though still working are down to perhaps 20% capacity so ok for radio or lights but not powertoolsWith its 2 foldable hooks and 2 wall fixing holes, this product offers a variety of solutions to improve and facilitate working conditions. It simply blinks as if ready to be charged but it is not charging once i put it in the (original)charger. it doesn't heat up or anything... it does not do much. Any ideas? time for somthing like ryobi one plus where the all batteries fit all tools and spares are easily found

so i took the charger apart and found a microswitch on pcb that switches when the battery terminals connect in charger. In closed position, the optical compartment is completely protected, and you can transport and store your ERBAUER work light safely The ERBAUER work light is designed in a triangular ergonomic shape, this work light offers the best comfort and stabilityThanks for that - yes, cheap stuff normally doesn't last as long as good quality items, but I would have hoped for a longer life of both batteries.
