LAS VEGAS (AP) — Hall of Famer Warren Sapp took a plea deal Thursday that spares him jail time in a Las Vegas criminal case involving a scuffle with his former girlfriend that began after margaritas at a casino hotel swimming pool.
The 42-year-old former Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Oakland Raiders defensive tackle pleaded no contest in Las Vegas Justice Court to one misdemeanor domestic violence charge, court officials said.
A judge fined Sapp $345 and ordered him to pay $2,Saucony Skor,555 in restitution, log 48 hours of community service and six months of counseling, and stay out of trouble for six months. Two other misdemeanor domestic violence charges were dismissed.
Sapp also has to stay away from the victim, prosecutor Lisa Luzaich said. He faces six months in jail if he violates terms of the deal.

Sapp was charged in June with arguing with the woman and pulling her arm or purse in an April incident at the M Resort in Henderson, and knocking the woman down a short time later at her Las Vegas condominium.
The woman told police she ended up on the floor and thought she may have suffered a concussion when Sapp stepped on the right side of her face.
The accusation came just months after Sapp was fired as an on-air analyst for the NFL Network after a Feb,Custom Browns Jersey. 2 arrest in Phoenix for assaulting and soliciting a prostitute during Super Bowl weekend,Saucony Skor Sverige.
He pleaded guilty to both charges,Germany Jersey, and the solicitation charge was dropped after he completed a diversion program.

IRVING, Texas (AP) — While Tony Romo is done for this season after breaking his collarbone for the second time this year, the struggling Dallas Cowboys somehow still have a chance to defend their NFC East title and get to the playoffs.
Coach Jason Garrett said Monday that Romo has a lot of football left to play in the future. But so do the Cowboys this season without the quarterback, wholesale jerseys, and part of the message the coach has for his Cowboys (3-8) is that they still have a chance in the division race.
"It's part of our message to provide perspective," Garrett said. "Oftentimes you have to provide a perspective about where we are, where we are, where we want to go and how we want to do it. So that certainly will be part of the message when the players come back in."
Dallas has five games left and is two games behind Washington and New York, both 5-6 after the Redskins beat the Giants on Sunday.
The Cowboys play next Monday night at Washington, cheap jerseys, giving them an extended break after playing Thanksgiving Day. They host the Redskins in their regular season finale Jan. 3, and have already split their two games with the Giants.
Romo will not have surgery after getting hurt again in their loss to undefeated Carolina in the Cowboys' traditional holiday game. But Garrett believes the collarbone will heal and that the 35-year-old quarterback still has plenty of games left to play.
"We think Tony has a lot of football left in him. ... He's got a lot of football ahead of him," Garrett said. "Tony's a great competitor, authentic nfl jerseys, Tony wants to play as much as anybody, wants to play at a high level and help our team."
For now, Romo will stay involved with the team and connected with quarterbacks Matt Cassel and Kellen Moore.
The Cowboys are 0-7 this season without Romo, including four games started by midseason acquisition Cassel during Romo's first absence after Brandon Weeden lost three. Weeden was released when Romo returned, and Garrett anticipates Moore being brought up from the practice squad to be Cassel's backup.
"One of the things I thought (Romo) did a really good job of when Brandon was playing and when Matt was playing earlier in the year was just staying involved and staying engaged," Garrett said. "But at the same time you've got to go let those guys go take charge of the football team and understand what that balance is. I thought he did a good job understanding that day to day and certainly on Sundays."
Garrett believes Cassel's experience with the Cowboys in those earlier four games will benefit him the second time in the starter's role, nike nfl jerseys.
"He came in,cheap jerseys from china, had to learn quickly, had to learn during the season," Garrett said. "So there's a lot of things you're kind of catching up on when you come into a football team at that position at that time."
Notes: Garrett is optimistic about cornerback Morris Claiborne returning against the Redskins. Claiborne missed the last two games because of hamstring and ankle injuries, nfl jerseys. ... Running back Trey Williams was waived, wholesale nfl jerseys.

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Chris Johnson put on another big show on Monday night,Jazz Jersey, just like he used to.
The running back,Flyers Jersey, who acknowledges he was thinking about calling it quits after suffering a gunshot wound in the offseason, rushed for 122 yards in just 18 carries in the Cardinals' 26-18 victory over the Baltimore Ravens.
Cardinals general manager Steve Keim has a knack for finding older players ready to settle for a one-year contract to show they still have what it takes to prosper in the NFL,New Balance Trainers Ireland. Johnson might be his biggest find yet.
"I love Monday night," Johnson said. "Everyone around the world is watching. I like playing night games. It is a different energy for not just me but the whole team. It is a different energy when you play on Monday night."
It was Johnson's seventh Monday night game since he entered the league as a rookie with the Tennessee Titans in 2008. In those seven contests, he has averaged 103 yards per game. A lot of people got to see the Chris Johnson many thought was gone for good.
"I think it's huge," coach Bruce Arians said at his day-after news conference Tuesday. "Anytime someone has a big game on Monday night football, it's street cred throughout the league. Everyone wants to shine on Monday night,Avery Bradley Celtics Jersey, and he has a pretty good history of being pretty good on Monday night."
A month past his 30th birthday, Johnson is the latest older player looking to prove he still has it to be scooped up by Keim on a short-term contract.
It was a veteran's minimum deal plus incentives. Johnson was supposed to split time with Andre Ellington and rookie David Johnson.
But Ellington was hurt in the season opener and Chris Johnson became the No. 1 back, strengthening his grip on the job with every outing.
Monday night was Johnson's third 100-yard rushing performance of the season, something last accomplished for Arizona when Edgerrin James did it in 2007. And there are nine games remaining to add a few more.
Two of the runs were big. The first he bounced outside for a 26-yard touchdown scamper. The second, he landed on top of a beefy defender after a short gain and, authentic nfl jerseys, sitting on the guy's stomach, realized he wasn't down. Johnson bolted up and dashed downfield for a 62-yard gain.
Johnson ranks second in the NFL in yards rushing with 567, 54 fewer than Atlanta's Devonta Freeman. Among backs with at least 100 carries, Johnson leads the league at 5.1 yards per attempt.
"He's still got it, I'll tell you that," Arizona quarterback Carson Palmer said after Monday night's game. "That defense notices it. Every defense we've lined up against knows when he's in the backfield and when he's not. Just a great player. For a while, he was one of the most dominant players in the NFL,Celtics Jersey, and he can still dominate a game like he did today."
Johnson played his first six seasons with the Titans. In 2009, he rushed for more than 2,000 yards, nfl jerseys, one of seven players in NFL history to accomplish that feat. He rushed for at least 1,000 yards in each of his seasons in Tennessee, but parted ways after the 2013 season, signing a free agent deal with the New York Jets. Things did not go the way he thought they would. He carried the ball a career-low 155 times, 43 fewer than teammate Chris Ivory did. Johnson's average yards per carry was a respectable 4.3,Ben Davies Hotspur Jersey UK, but his season total was a career-worst 663. The Jets released him.
Then came that early morning in Orlando, when shots were fired into the van in which Johnson was riding. One person was killed. Johnson and another man were wounded. Johnson has said he believes he would have been killed had he not bent over to look at a text on his phone just as the shots were fired. He still has a bullet in his shoulder.
Johnson said he couldn't move his arm for a time and thought about quitting. The movement returned and he decided to work out with Jay Glazer in California to get back in shape, nfl jerseys china.
Johnson is sure the shooting scared teams away, until Keim gave him a chance.
That backstory was there for anyone to see when Johnson took off running Monday night.
"I think it just added more ice cream on top of his cake," Arians said.
Notes: Arians said he expects CB Jerraud Powers to be out two weeks with a hamstring injury. That could mean he misses only one game. The Cardinals have a bye after next Sunday's game at Cleveland.

SAN JOSE,Justin Tuggle Jersey, Calif. (AP) — A California judge has dismissed a defamation lawsuit filed by former San Francisco 49er Ray McDonald against a woman who accused him of rape.
McDonald failed to produce any admissible evidence that the woman had spoken to anyone other than law enforcement officials about her accusations, and statements to police are considered protected speech,New Balance 574 Ireland, Santa Clara County Superior Court Judge William Elfving said in the ruling last week.
A call to McDonald's attorney, Steve Defilippis,Saucony Skor Sverige, was not immediately returned.
Gloria Allred, who is representing the woman, said the ruling sent a message to NFL players and other celebrities that defamation suits against people who report crimes to authorities are a losing strategy.
The woman says McDonald carried her upstairs to his bedroom in December 2014 and sexually assaulted her.
She has filed a lawsuit against McDonald alleging assault and battery, negligence, intentional infliction of emotional distress and false imprisonment.
Prosecutors are reviewing the case after police say the woman reported she doesn't recall any sexual encounters after drinking alcohol, falling and blacking out at McDonald's home.
She said she went to police after waking up next to McDonald,Saucony Shadow 6000 Shop.
McDonald says security camera footage will show a consensual sexual encounter occurred in his hot tub.
The 49ers released McDonald in December,Saucony Shadow Original Grey, citing a pattern of poor decision-making.
McDonald had been arrested on suspicion of domestic violence in a separate incident in August,New Balance 574 Island Pack. Prosecutors declined to file charges,Max Kruse Germany Jersey.
The Chicago Bears released McDonald in May after he was arrested at a San Jose home on suspicion of assaulting his ex-fiancee.

HOUSTON (AP) — After spending his entire 12-year NFL career in Houston, there are few things that could surprise Andre Johnson anymore.
But things have changed so much under new coach Bill O'Brien that even the veteran receiver has been taken aback at times, cheap jerseys.
One example is seeing O'Brien in the locker room chatting and sharing a joke or two with his players.
"He just interacts more with the team," Johnson said. "Previous coaches didn't do stuff like that."
It's a one sign of a different culture within the Texans and part of the plan of the first-year NFL head coach to make this his team from top to bottom,Flyers Jersey.
O'Brien came to Houston after two seasons at Penn State where he took over the unenviable job of replacing Joe Paterno in the wake of the Jerry Sandusky child molestation scandal that rocked the university. He was an offensive assistant under Bill Belichick at New England from 2007-12,Swingman Adrian Dantley Jersey, and the Penn State job was his first as a head coach.
Since taking over the Texans, whose shocking 2-14 collapse after two straight playoff trips led to Gary Kubiak's firing, O'Brien's overarching mantra has been that nothing is more important than the team.
There are reminders everywhere, starting in the locker room where each locker features a Texans logo with the words: 'Always put the team first,' inside. Running back Arian Foster caught some flak in training camp when he answered each of 11 questions in one interview with slight variations of: "I'm just trying to be the best teammate I can be."
But with O'Brien's Texans that response might be one of the best things one could say,New Balance Trainers Ireland.
And if focusing solely on the team is what's expected, something completely off-limits is worrying about what happened in 2013. O'Brien won't entertain questions about what occurred before he arrived, and a favorite phrase of his is, "We don't talk about last year."
Everything he does seems to be an effort to make every person in the organization feel as if they're part of a family.
"We're all in it together," O'Brien said. "We're coaches and it is our job to teach these guys how we want them to play football in our systems and our vision. At the same time,Alexis Sanchez Arsenal Jersey UK, we want input, especially from the guys that have played a lot of football."
Chris Myers, a 10-year veteran who has been Houston's center since 2008, noticed a change from the moment O'Brien arrived. He thinks shaking everything up helped create cohesiveness within the team.
"From square one everything's changed," Myers said. "There's different signs around; times are different. He kind of wanted to change everything so it was brand new for everyone, no matter if you were a rookie or if you were a vet for 10 years it was going to be new to every single person. So no one could just lean back and say: 'OK I'm used to that.'"
Middle linebacker Brian Cushing has enjoyed the positivity and enthusiasm O'Brien has brought to the team and loves that he treats everyone, from 2014 top overall pick Jadeveon Clowney to players on the practice squad,Andrew MacDonald Flyers Jersey, the same.
"He's got a lot of respect for everyone," Cushing said. "He's very conscious about every single guy, what they're doing, how they're feeling and will take care of their specific needs."
That doesn't mean that he's easy on anyone. When asked to describe the 44-year-old coach, player after player used one word: Demanding.
"Every day is a work day and nothing is taken for granted," cornerback Johnathan Joseph said. "Everyone is held to a certain high standard and everyone has the same responsibility as the next teammate."
But as much of a taskmaster as he can be, he is also very conscious and committed to his family and the concerns players have with their own families. When he was hired. he said that an attractive aspect of the job was Houston's world-class medical center. O'Brien's 11-year-old son Jack can't walk or talk because of a rare neurological disorder that also causes seizures.
Players have been wowed by his understanding of personal situations and said that it is a relief to know his door is always open to discuss any issues that they might have, authentic nfl jerseys, even if it isn't about football.
"He's a very,Ben Davies Hotspur Jersey UK, very family oriented, cheap nfl jerseys china, family driven person," Myers said. "To be able to be demanding on the field and to do your best off the field, (with) him understanding certain situations with family, and that family comes first, I think gains a lot of respect with a lot of players."

SAN DIEGO (AP) — These are glum times for San Diego Chargers fans,Saucony Shadow 5000 Mint Green.
Their loyalty has been trashed since February by team chairman Dean Spanos, who wants to move to Los Angeles. Now NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has signaled that the Chargers' 55-season run in San Diego could be close to ending.
So here come the Denver Broncos,Saucony Cruel World 2, and Chargers fans can't even boo Peyton Manning one last time.
With Manning sidelined by an injured left foot, the Broncos have rebounded from two straight losses behind Brock Osweiler, the understudy to Manning who helped Denver win at Chicago and then spoil the New England Patriots' perfect season with an overtime victory in Denver on Sunday night.
The Broncos (9-2) are cruising toward their fifth straight AFC West title. The Chargers (3-8) are floundering in the division basement,Mesut Ozil Germany Jersey, overjoyed they were able to hold off four-win Jacksonville to snap a six-game losing streak.
Osweiler made a regional cover of Sports Illustrated this week. It doesn't seem to be going to the tall Montanan's head,Marco Reus Jersey.
Asked if he picked up a copy, he said: "I haven't. I picked up our game plan for the week,Paul Kruger Browns Jersey, though."
He claims not to have heard of the SI jinx,Joel Bitonio Browns Jersey.
"I think the biggest thing just to remind myself is there is no way I'm getting on that cover if it's not for all those other guys that are out there fighting on Sunday, as well. To me, that's a team-earned cover, and I wish all of us could be on there,Saucony Grid 9000 For Sale," he said.
Here are some things to look for when Osweiler and the Broncos visit Philip Rivers and the Chargers on Sunday:
BOLTING BOLTS? This could be the penultimate Chargers game at aging Qualcomm Stadium. Spooked by St. Louis Rams owner Stan Kroenke's plans for a stadium in Inglewood, Spanos has been leading the charge to get his fellow owners' approval to move to Carson, an industrial suburb of Los Angeles. On Wednesday, Goodell said San Diego, Oakland and St. Louis must have viable stadium plans by Dec. 28, which means no time for public votes. The problem is Mayor Kevin Faulconer is standing by his commitment for a public vote on a new Chargers stadium.
NFL owners are expected to vote on relocation in January.
The Chargers walked away from negotiations with the city and county in mid-June and have been focusing their efforts and a joint stadium with their rivals, the Oakland Raiders.
What it all means,Ozzie Newsome Jersey, short-term, is that there could be more Broncos fans than Chargers fans in the seats.
RIVERS REMEMBERS: Rivers said he worked out with Osweiler after he came out of Arizona State. The link was Noel Mazzone, Rivers' offensive coordinator his senior year at North Carolina State and Osweiler's O-coordinator at Arizona State. Mazzone's now at UCLA.
Rivers said he was impressed with Osweiler's passion and eagerness to learn. "He wasn't a young guy that thought he had all the answers. He was real receptive. Not that I was anybody to give him every answer. He had the right approach and then obviously being able to be around Peyton Manning all these years."
SON OF BUM: Defensive coordinator Wade Phillips followed Gary Kubiak back to Denver when Kubiak was hired as coach in January. Phillips was San Diego's defensive coordinator from 2004-06 under Marty Schottenheimer.
With the Broncos, he oversees the NFL's top-rated defense.
"He was a great mentor to me," said Chargers defensive coordinator John Pagano, who worked under Phillips on Schottenheimer's staff. "He was a great person to be around all the time, and the knowledge of football that he has."
Phillips (?@sonofbum) had some fun on Twitter this week,Saucony Shadow Original Black.
"My wife is a Charging fan-go figure," he posted.

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) — Chicago Bears star running back Matt Forte and veteran receiver Eddie Royal likely will return this season and probably won't need surgery to repair knee injuries they suffered in Sunday's loss to the Minnesota Vikings.
"I don't see it being season-ending on either one,New Balance Shoes Singapore," coach John Fox said Monday.
Does he anticipate surgery for either player,Air Max 90 Black Sale?
"No,Saucony Grid 9000 Mint," Fox said.
A day after Forte injured his right knee and Royal hurt his left one, Fox said he did not have an exact diagnosis or timetable for their returns. Both players left Sunday's game, wholesale jerseys, and losing either — particularly Forte — for an extended time would be a big blow for a rebuilding team.
The Bears are 2-5 after losing on a last-second field goal by Blair Walsh, with a Monday night game at San Diego up next.
Royal was injured in the first half, while Forte exited after being hit in the right leg by Minnesota's Harrison Smith following a reception early in the third quarter.
The two-time Pro Bowl pick was examined on the sideline before walking toward the locker room shortly afterward and did not return. Forte was seen slightly favoring his right leg after the game. A fan asked if he was OK,New Balance 1400 Australia, and he said, "Yeah."
The 29-year-old Forte has mostly been a model of durability in his eight seasons. He sat out the final four games in 2011 because of a sprained MCL in his right knee and another the following year because of an ankle injury. That is the only time he has missed, authentic nfl jerseys, and there is no question he ranks right near the top on the list of players the Bears can least afford to lose.
If Forte is unavailable, rookie Jeremy Langford would figure to carry a bigger load.
"We talked about the importance of him this past week and what he means to this team,Cheap New Balance Trainers," quarterback Jay Cutler said after Sunday's game. "I think Jeremy Langford is in that mold. He doesn't have the experience Matt does by any means but he can catch, cheap jerseys, he can run, he can block."
A fourth-round pick out of Michigan State, Langford has 80 yards on 27 rushes. He finished with 46 yards on 12 attempts against Minnesota, but Fox sees potential.
He said Langford is a quick learner who is not fazed by the more complicated schemes, particularly in the passing game.
"They're not just handing off to him," Fox said. "The protection element, routes, sometimes some of the things you see are a little bit more exotic. So he's adapted to that very well as a rookie coming in from college to the NFL."
It was not clear when Royal was hurt. Marc Mariani filled in for him on offense.
The injuries to Forte and Royal are just the latest on a long list for the Bears.
They juggled their offensive line with center Hroniss Grasu sitting out Sunday's game with a neck injury.
Receiver Alshon Jeffery (hamstring), left tackle Jermon Bushrod (shoulder), safety Antrel Rolle (ankle) and linebacker Shea McClellin (knee) are among the players who have missed big chunks of time this season because of injuries. The Bears also lost center Will Montgomery to a broken leg, and rookie Kevin White (shin) has been sidelined all season.
"You get new people, you're training players at positions, whether it's been acquisitions off people's practice squads or bringing in new people," Fox said. "Regardless of the position, nfl jerseys, there's a trickle-down effect whether it's on offense or defense or special teams. It makes it a little more challenging. But nobody rescues you; you just make do with what you have."
